The back panel really does make a difference — no wedgies at all, which I didn't expect from woven cotton. Elastic waistband has just the right amount of give, and the open fly is actually functional. Three pairs for this price feels like a steal.
Wore these through a whole weekend of yard work and they stayed comfortable the entire time. The contrasting waistband is a nice touch, and the open fly actually works the way it should.
