I've washed these trunks a dozen times now and the low waist hasn't stretched out or lost shape at all. The short leg length means no fabric bunching under my jeans, which was my main issue with other boxers.
The Tencel lyocell feels genuinely silk-like against the skin, way softer than the cotton trunks I used to wear. The low waist sits right where I want it and doesn't ride up during the day.
I've washed these at least ten times now and the Tencel fabric still feels as silky as day one, no pilling at all. The signature waistband sits flat under jeans without rolling down, which was my main gripe with other trunks. Honestly the softest underwear I've owned.
